Robert
K. (Bob) Benson, M.A., Ph.D. (c)
1936 - 2003
The following are excerpts from the book,
SubContact: Chapter 1: Bob's Story.
"I decided I would die on October 31, 1988. Mired in self-pity, blind to anything but my own sense of failure, I was corporately, personally and spiritually bankrupt - and alcoholic. I decided the misery must end."
"I concluded, as many survivors do in such inexplicable circumstances, that it just wasn't my time."
"Now things had to change..."
Bob passed away in January 2003 after a brief illness. The previous year Bob and Dian
walked across Canada, from Victoria BC to Montreal Qu, to mark the anniversity of September 11, 2001 - their last major challenge together.
Thanks for being on my team, Bob.

Today, I have a vision to bring together like-minded people, people interested in fostering a holistic exploration of their potential, people ready to live their lives more fully, people ready to learn from the challenge. The journey has just begun. Care to join us?

Hi, I'm Dian Benson, co-creator of SubContact,
and founder of Challenge House International Learning Centres.
My late husband, Bob, and I began our work together in 1990. It brought us a greater understanding of how our subconscious, that is, information outside our usual awareness, affects our lives. I had an insatiable curiosity for mystery and the unknown, which lead us down this path called SubContact. What a journey. The information we gathered helped us, and others, to live life differently.
As mid-lifers, for example, we trained for marathons, completed university degrees, created marketable ideas, lived
and traveled in cultures other than our own.
We gained a new sense of satisfaction and enjoyment from the challenge of learning and reaching for new goals.
More importantly, I feel, I came to know myself in a way I could only have once imagined.
I acquired a belief and confidence in my abilities that I never had before.
I continue to gain in understanding, personally, of others and in the world around me.
None of this would have happened without our experiences with SubContact.
I believe that you can share in our success, and invite you to do
so.
