Power Meditation

Power Meditiation can help us solve problems, come to understand our selves better, or simply take us on a great adventure.

Meditation is a refreshing time-out. Our brain waves slow down, our breathing becomes calm and even and our heart and mind have a chance to escape from the constant stimulus of everyday living. Some people are satisfied with this state: a refreshing time-out that brings some mental and physical balance to our lives. It is certainly worth taking up the practice of meditating on this basis alone.

On the other hand, some people may be adventurous enough to want more; may want to experience what Einstein and others did. When they meditated, they saw, heard and felt the vividness of mental imagery.

Power Meditation is all about mental imagery. Mental imagery is the internal sensing of experiences that have no immediate outside source of stimulus. What we mean by 'seeing in the mind's eye' or 'hearing with the mind's ear'. It is really sensory mental imagery because we are able to experience all of the physical senses.

Everyone can and does experience mental imagery. In sleep we automatically experience mental imaging, whether we remember or not, as dreaming. All top performers use mental imaging or mental rehearsal. Sports, the arts, and health have promoted and practiced its use for many years. Einstein liked to perform what he called thought experiments, where he used his imagination and mental imagery. We, too, can learn to combine relaxation with mental imagery as part of a quest.

SubContact the Modular Program offers simple, yet effective, techniques to help in the practice of mental imagery.

'Imagination is more important than knowledge. - Einstein , '

'What lies behind us and what lies before us are small matter compared to what lies within us - Emerson.'

'Mental imagery is a natural phenomenon that occurs within all of us'
